This is the man-made counter top material NOT the natural stone. So...our cat said she needed a new and bigger box to hold her treats. Having just made a few pen's from this material I decided to stack laminate some of the counter cut-off's I had saved from a bathroom remodel and this is what she got. Some dusty stuff cutting in the details and a bit messy wet sanding on the lathe but what the cat wants she gets or we pay for it. Measure 5x3 with a walnut bead for the foot. Just sanded thru to 20K...Bill...

Nice work, and I bet it was really dusty doing that Corian! The walnut foot/bead is a nice touch.

That's a neat idea. I like the contrasting foot detail.

Looks pretty cool to me! Nice form and detail work! What's the cat think?

Clever idea and nice form. Is that what you call a "cat box?"

Nice work Bill. Our two dogs and two cats all think I am their personal servant. Hope your cat is happy with her new treat container.

I like that William.

Is it really that dusty? I have used a router on Surrell (sp) before and it cut like hot butter with wispy shavings.

Toney, compared to wood I found it dusty. Had to wipe the lathe down afterwards because it started looking like a Oneway she was so white.

That is one pretty box Bill. I can guess how dusty it was.
