I have some stain which is not too old; bought it at the end of september. I had made a mixture for a customer that and she decided she wanted the same thing on another project. In early february I took the remaining old mixture from september and put it an old 5 of laquer thinner can. And added an additional new mixture to get the total needed quantity of stain. I am find the stain is gelling on me. Can I add mineral spirits to thin it back out?
