Happy Veterans and Remembrance Day!

A sincere "Thank You" to all those who have served, and especially to those who have even given their lives, to make this a better, and safer, world for all of us.

You are truly worthy of Remembrance!

James :)

Thanks!

It was my honor to serve. I will always support the troops over any politician, and know the troops appreciate the support of the people. We didn't have it at the end of the Viet Nam era and it hurt. I feel much better with a President that respects the services and genuinely appreciates their service.

Thanks to all of our Veterans. Those of us who have not served cannot say or do enough to thank you for your service.

Hal, my Dad served with the Wild Weasel F-4 group in Veit Nam. He retired in 1995 (30 years of service), and he is a woodworker as well. I know it was a long time ago, and that there were a lot of folks there in Viet Nam, but who knows, you might remember a Robert Harbin.

Thanks Pete,

I am not familiar with your dad, has he told you about the ultimate game of chicken?

Thanks! I would do it again if ony I wasn't too old and fat now.

My thanks to those who are serving now. Also remember - those still serve who only stand and wait.

Marshall,

I just sent you an email that I thought you might like due to your comments about doing it again.

To all who are or have served, I have not had the privelege of serving and my deepest gratitude goes out to you. Don't know if it's acceptable (if not, please, accept my apologies!), but I'd be greatly honored if you accepted a SALUTE! from yours truly! :)

Likewise from here in the US, for all war veterans of all countries, and wishing for peace in the world.

Most people seem to miss this so I'll state it here. You don't have to have served in a "war" to be a veteran. I'm not trying to belittle those who served during conflict but we also owe a great debt to those veterans who served during peace times. If they weren't there serving then we wouldn't have the peace times. A strong military presence keeps the enemy at bay.

As a proud veteran (Sgt, USAF, Security police, sentry/patrol dog handler, 1968-1972) I wish to say you're more than welcome. As others have said: I, too, would do it again in a heartbeat. May God bless America and the world. Let's continue to pray for a spirit of unity in this nation.
