Kunz Compass Planes

Does anyone have any comments on Kunz Compass planes? How do they compare to the Record 020?

I am not impressed with the few tools I have seen from Kunz to spend about 4X what I spent for a compass plane made by Stanley.

In my opinion from one experience (small spokeshave), which chattered like a demented squirrel (yes, I know, redundant), Kunz paints their tools bright green as a service to woodworkers, so you know to run when you see that color.
