hello everyone, this is my first post at the creek. i have read a few posts and diagnosed some of my machinery here and it was a big help. my question today is, how do you cut the slot in the end of a cribbage board for peg storage? is it one bit or two? i tried searching the creek for an answer and it didnt come up with anything. i did a google search and found one reply on a router forum. it still didnt show how you cut the small groove for the metal to slide into. do they have a small wing type cutter for that, or can you cut it with a chisel? confused in Maine.

and then route out the storage area.
