I'm finishing up a bathroom vanity and hutch. I'll be priming and painting both white with Olympic kitchen/bathroom paint.

Do I need a hard clear finish over that to help wipe clean and provide extra moisture protection?

If so, specifically what brand/kinds are recommended to spray on?

If it says it's for kitchens and bathrooms it should stand on it's own quality. If it is a waterbase paint, I'd add Floetrol, per directions, for a better paint job.

That paint is an acrylic paint suitable for cabinets, shelves and the like so the paint itself is a suitable top coat.

You can clear coat it for a slightly more durable finish (depending on what finish you choose) but often it is top coated to adjust the sheen.

I don't do a lot of paint projects but when I do I don't top coat. I use SW pro classic which is very similar to the Olympic you mentioned.
