My 12" Hitachi sliding compound miter saw has several preset stops for cutting common angles including 0 for 90 degree cuts.
However, it isn't cutting a perfect 90 and I can't find any mention of adjusting these presets in their manual.
Anyone out there have any experience with this?
Thanks,
Scott C.

Scott, you adjust the fence to the blade in order to set you 90* cuts.

Scott, I have this saw and I had a problem with it. The saw would cut perfect when it fully back but when you used the slide it was off 3/16 of an inch. I took it to a repair center and they adjusted the bearings in the slide and now cuts perfect. They say it is not an easy job to do. This was a brand new saw. Any questions just let me know. Bruce
