Sorry for my goof up on the pics on the other thread , here it is again.
This is the largest segmented piece that I have done so far. Its 10'' wide x 16'' tall. which doesn't sound big but its a pretty big piece. Woods are European beech, Walnut, and Maple. If you are wondering about the feature ring, I done that with matched stile and rail cabinet door router bits. I had never seen one done like that and thought it might be interesting. Antique oil for the finish, thanks for looking

It's a nice looking piece. The cope and stick feature band is attractive as well.

Mike, I like this piece, and it is very well done. But, I like the previous one with the SW flavor a little better. Wonder what it would look like with the top layer of the accent ring inverted? Just a thought.

REally nice Mike! It was worth the wait for the pictures. How much would you say it weighs?

Way to go Mike. One of my first segmented turnings was done with the same bits. A completely different look though. Your execution is phenomenal and the form is perfect. I always look forward to seeing your work.

That is quite a large vase Mike and very well done. Cope & pattern is a cool idea, automatically produces good tight joints. Very nice piece, as always.

That is nice Mike!

Very creative idea with the feature ring. I can imagine by flipping the bottom half of the feature ring you could create at blanket pattern.

Thanks for sharing this.

Nicely done. I really like the piece, and I think 16" tall is big! Would scare me! Looks good and I like the "Cabinet Work". Only other woodworkers will get the secret. Most will just say how'd he do that.
