Finished this small box from some scrap pieces a couple of months ago, but wanted to turn the brass feet and make a small something on the lid to be able to lift it off easily.

So turned the brass feet late last night and also the top acrylic bubble, it has a copper wire in it to give it some illusional image inside and is glued into the acrylic and the wood.

The box is about 3" wide and 2 and a quarter tall, the brass legs are just a hair less tall than ⅜" (9mm) they have short tenons on them that go into the wood and are glued in (CA)

Any and all comments are welcome :D

The last picture shows some chatoyance, almost looks like toolmarks, but isn't, just the way the light breaks up :)

BTW, I believe Ken was referring to the old TV show "My Favorite Martian." But, you are probably too young to recall that one!:D;)
