Been away too Long. Paperclip Holder Done!

It has been way too long since I got to do some turning! I haven’t been around much lately, but did work on one small project on the new lathe. Along with using the new lathe, I had been wanting to try out my new small hollowing tool. I grabbed a piece of leftover peppermill scrap and chucked it up. I had bought these paperclip magnet rings over 6 months ago, and thought that this would be the perfect project for this piece of scrap.

I finished the holder with several coats of wipeon Poly, Bealle Buffed and Ren Wax.

That is another reason I turned this. I put it on my desk at work so everyone can see what I like to do in my spare time. Plus, I don't have any of the pieces I have made thus far, everything has been for gifts!

Very nice, the colors work in a paper clip holder just as well as they do in your pepper mills, which are always great.
