Well, my last little square bowl actually stimulated a sale so I made these.

All cherry - All 5 1/2" x 2" - AO. The one is my first "suspended bowl".

Any C&C welcomed.

Toney, like we discussed before, you just have to find the niche - that little something that sells. I really like these, and particularly the suspended one. Nice grouping for the pic, too!

Those look great Toney!

You have more experience than I when it comes to sales but I have read a number of times that things tend to sell in sets of 3 or 5. Was wondering if you planned on selling these as a set or individually. Not that it makes a difference - I'm just curious.

Very nice photos as well!

Great looking trio. You even scored a 'Wow' from my wife(she's not easily impressed... at least not by my turnings). Great photo as well.

Steve,

No, in this particular case a lady saw that little square bowl that I posted a couple of weeks ago and she wanted two for gifts.

I did not really want to make two more of exactly the same design so I made three out of the same cherry board and sent her the pictures so that she could pick out the two that she wanted.

Thanks for the kind comments.

By the way, the cherry came from a tree that my BIL and I cut down about 30 years ago off of my father's land. Biggest cherry tree that I have ever seen in these parts. 32" in diameter at the base and 23" in diameter 33 feet up. I got 3 - 11 foot logs out of it that produced almost 1000 board feet of lumber. It is the same lumber that I built all of my kitchen cabinets, door frames and trim in my house. A beautiful tree that was no doubt veneer grade. Almost no defects in the bottom two logs. No real turning blanks since that was long before my descent into the vortex!! :D

Very nice! One more thing to add to an ever growing list of things I just have to try.

Just an update. The lady like the different ones but she wanted two that were like the original sooo.... I MUST go back to the shop and make another one.

The sacrifices one has to make!

I appreciate all the nice comments.
