I remember reading a "tune up" article specific to the Ridgid 14" bandsaw.

October 2006 issue of WOOD Magazine may be what you're talking about. I believe you can purchase and download that article from their website.

Go to Ridgid. com and read the posts. All you will need to get your Ridgid bandsaw running perfect is there. It doesnt take alot of work, balancing the wheels will go a long ways to make this saw smooth. I know... Ive had one for 7 years now, and its a fine saw, used within its limitations.
