The root structure for the bushes around my florida driveway are 4 to 6 inches above the driveway surface. Everytime it rains, dirt stains the driveway.

I would like to use some pavers I found at home depot that measure approximately 6 x 11 x 1 for a mini retaining wall. Lay them down horizontally on 11 inch dimension leaving about 4 inches above driveway surface.

Should I imbed them in a sacrete type product? Or should I wash the edge of concrete driveway to remove dirt and then attach the pavers to driveway edge with some sort of adhesive..........golfing buddy thinks liquid nails would do the trick

Maybe I sould also usesome adhesive where the pavers meet edge to edge to minimize dirt seepage

any suggestions appreciated

I would attach the pavers to each other with something. There is a liquid nails type product precisely for concrete. I would also push the dirt back from the wall when making it and line the back with landscaping cloth so that water will flow through, but the dirt won't.
