...you might like this one. Got the wood as a first cut from a flat sawn log; lots of bark, not much wood. Simple profile, but I like how the heartwood/sapwood worked out.

Spanish elm; 9 1/4" x 1 1/4"; wall thickness <1/8"; finish - Minwax wipe-on poly.

Really interesting piece of wood, and the combination heart/sap/bark worked very well in this piece!

Nice looking bowl... the bark inclusions make the piece for me.
