Does anyone know of these guys? Do you own any of the turning tools? What do you think of them?

I have never used them but first came across them when I was inlaying stone bands on some of my pens, and someone recommended these. These were the first carbide-tipped wood turning tools that I came across. Didn't buy them at the time due to a lack of funds (the perennial problem), but their web site and tools have been around for several years.

Put the address in Google Earth and see where this place is. Interesting.

I do have the 3/4" round tool, but haven't used it yet. It is a nice looking tool though is that means anything:rolleyes:, and yes that is a golf club handle. The shaft seems to be anodized.

Howdy,

Yes I have three of them. No, there is not enough shear angle on the carbide or the tools. Also their inserts have .002-.003 hone on the ones I checked. Great for metal but not wood.
