Stan, nice to see that you are learning to work with your new laser.
While your photo is a good effort I am sure with practice you can do much better. Pets are sometimes hard to do because or contrast issues.
I use photoGrav but others here can and do very well using the gold method with very stunning results. I believe that Rodney is the author of the original Gold method, search the forum using these key words to find more information. also pine is a poor substrate to print photos on.try Baltic birch,allder,aspen,cherry or a snow maple. I hope your enthusiasm continues and I look forward to seeing future photos as you continue to refine your craft.
