Stiff circular saw base

So I'm using a circular saw a lot now and I was curious if anyone has put any effort into stiffening the height adjustment to base plate. My saw is a Makita, and if I put pressure on it the saw will flex some. I would rather it not flex at all.

So, let's see those mods!

Why are ya havin' to apply so much pressure to the saw? :confused:

I don't think I'm adding a lot of pressure, I would just like the additional stability for bevels and when using less cut depth.
