A spool/bobbin holder? I have a very good friend making a new Easter dress for my little girl, and in return I'm building her a holder for spools of thread and sewing machine bobbins. She said she's seen such a thing, like a vertical post with lots of dowels sticking out on the side to hold the spools. All I've found online were pretty dull designs. I may create something with 6 sides and perhaps tapering toward the top with a nice solid hardwood bottom.

So - any thoughts?
