Hi everyone,
Been lurking about for a few weeks and really enjoy this forum.I've been reading some past threads on the Festool 150/3 sander, sounds like a great tool.I really didn't want tospend that much butyou guys are starting to convince me that it's a good investment.Where does everyone get theirs from and what is the going price?

Welcome, Brad--nice place to hang out! The absolute best place to buy your Festool sander is from Bob Marino at http://festool.safeshopper.com. The price is the same everywhere--$235, but right now, shipping is free.

Welcome to Saw Mill Creek Brad. I second what Jim said about the best place to buy Festool. Since the price is the same everywhere, the difference is service -and Bob excels at that.

Brad. Welcome to The 'creek. The Festool line of products consistently get good reviews on this board and others. Is it worth the price? Only you can answer that. Buy the best tools that you can afford. Tools are a long term investment, buy them for the long haul so to speak. Everyone, myself included have many tools that we "compromised" on, only to replace them at a later date with higher quality tools.
As to where to purchase them? Try Woodcraft or one of the other catalogs, or contact Bob Marino (Sawmill Creek member) here on the board. He deals in the Festool line of products. Good Luck and nice to meet ya'
