Dewalt Planer Stand Dimensions ??

Does anyone have the DW7350 stand for their planer? Would you mind telling me the dimensions - surface W x D and overall height?

Online owner's manual says zip. Email to DW Cust Service has missed their "24-hour response" in the automated reply by 6 days and counting........

Top surface is 20 x 23.
Overall height is 29 1/2.
Depending on whether you choose to mount the lifting caster and pedal inside or outside the base frame, the floor footprint can be either 27 x 25 1/4, or 33 x 25 1/4 (aprox).
It's a really solid unit BTW. I enclosed the base with some ply for storage on mine.

Friend got a Jet 15" benchtop DP for Christmas (his DW had a terrific gift list to choose from :D - she bought the entire list - visiting woodworking mentor/fishing buddy is close to getting that shop set up where the visitor wants it :p).

He's decided he wants DP on a stand, not on the bench. I'll give him build-option design specs + hardware, but this looked like an excellent buy-it alternative, which you have confirmed. The Jet is the same as their floor unit, just shorter - so it is heavy, and top-heavy - the footprint on this stand is a good size for safe mobile operations.

Tom - I was thinking the same thing re: enclosing and adding shelves or drawers. Sounds like that's a legit option.

Wow, that is a good price. James, thanks for the tip on Grizzly. I just ordered 2 - 1 for the planer and 1 for the benchtop DP (Kent - thanks for the idea!). Shipping for both totaled $16.
