Nother Way To Hide A Crack

My talented wife helped me hide this big crack on this maple bowl. The crack was filled with epoxy, and it looked terrible so she painted it. The bowl is 16 & 1/2 inches wide by 9 inches tall with a Brazillian cherry base. The finish is witches brew, then buffed.
