Not sure if this is gloat worthy or not. Scored a Festool TS-55 off of Craigslist for $375. Seller claimed it had been used twice (to plunge cut slots in their deck, builder left no gaps in the floor boards). The condition of the unit matched their claims, looked brand new, had all the parts, and an extra blade. First time I've ever seen any Festool on CL that was more than a few dollars off of new price.

One question, do the "couplers" that stick two guide rails together do a good job? Looks like another 55" rail and the two couplers Are less than $130 and one 106" rail is about twice that...

The couplers do a very, very, very good job.

IMHO - also spring for the extra $$ for the ratchet clamps instead of the screw clamps. Hindsight being 20/20, I wish I'd done that.

Jerome, should be a sale soon on the rails. Look up Bob Marino for info (source for a link to this link LOL). He is a great guy.
