I have a pile of 3 inch round, 12 inch long maple bat scraps. Any ideas what to make?

Short rolling pins, salt and pepper grinders, baby rattles, doorknobs, tea boxes, bun feet, footstool legs, some kind of a game, spacers for shelving unit, and a baby's arm holding an apple.

How about short rolling pins .... those would be a handy size.

Or, you could send them to me :-)

A LOT of candle sticks, peppermills, 12" long bats as gifts for a child's baseball or t-ball team, small bowls, small 3" round hollow forms, nice little vases, baby rattles, some tool handles, a mallet or LOTS of mallets, a few turned morse tapers cause you never know when you might need an extra one for a special setup of some kind, lots of easter eggs and egg holders, turned legs for a child's stool. I'm guessing there's a few more things out there. I'd be glad take 'em though if you get stumped! :D

Not sure what you mean by 3" round, but if that is the diameter then you could make some nice mallets.
