I found this place a couple weeks ago. Having read most of the post I have found them interesting.
I have a Vytek 4x8 monument laser and have had it for about 5 years. I am currently thinking about buying a smaller laser but still thinking on that.
I read in some of the posts where people were cutting their own granite and wanted to know about polishing the edges. Harbor Freight has some small diamond grinding wheels with a 1/4 mandrel for about $10 dollars. I put one of these on my drill press. It works real well for smoothing the cut edges on stone. I then take black shoe polish and paint the edges. A quick, cheap and easy way to make a cut edge look good.
