I bought a Jet 1442 and Performax 1632 on Craigslist today and this "contraption" was included in a box of the accessories for both tools. I can't figure out what it is and suspect that it may belong with something else. The color is off white so it could be Jet, Performax, or even Oneway. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Joe, Does the round shaft fit into the banjo? If it does I think it is for using a small router, grinder or drill to make equally spaced grooves, holes etc using an indexing wheel. It could have been made for the previous owner to fit a specific tool for an application he performed. Maybe on a jet website it could be found if it is a piece made by Jet.

Just my thoughts,

Jeff

Looks like a Oneway Drill Wizard. Or at least part of it. http://www.oneway.ca/workshop/drill_wizard.htm

Just checked in the 1632 manual - it is not a part of the sander.

BINGO! It is definitely a Oneway Drill Wizard.

I called Oneway and this is the previous version (about 5 years old) that does not have the red handled feed lever - you just use the drill handle instead.

Thanks to all who responded.

(This may show up in the classified ads section if I can't figure out a use for it.)
