Picked it up Friday afternoon. Used a Harbor Freight 20% off coupon too.

No, It wont be kept in my living room. The small storage room I have on my back porch will hold it just fine. Even though it is monday, I have yet to have time to really try it out. I did plug it up to make sure the motor works, but I havent checked it's accuracy yet or made a cut with it.

I am gonna order a Oshlun Dado set and pick up a few better , regular blades for it . This is the last big tool purchase that has a cord I hope. from here on out I should only be posting up my gloats in the neander section. LV and LN are gonna split my paycheck 50/50 ( I wish ) .

Anyway after I use it a bit , I will get a better review. There are hundreds of reviews all over the net, and those alone are what persuaded me to go this route for a portable TS.

Ohhhhh, you're happy :)

FWW's "Tools & Shops" Annual Issue - Winter '09/'10 reviewed portable saws:

Bosch 4100-09
Craftsman 21828
DeWalt DW744X
Jet JBTS-10MJS
Makita 2705X1
Ridgid R4510

Don't want to violate copyright stuff too blatantly, but ... yours did REALLY well. They particularly loved the miter gauge!

Loud, though! Wear your ear protection!

I've got a Bosch 4100. I happen to love it. I'm sure you'll love your new saw, too!

Congrats :)

read that article. The Bosch 4100 and this saw are virtually twins, few minor differences, but basically, the same saw. this one is a hundred bucks cheaper though....;)
