I've never tried anything like this as I am still new to the laser but I think the lighting on it looks great, esp. as this was your first one. Be proud!
I am hoping one day to find the time to make a sign as mine really bites, and I'd like to light it up as well, but don't know where to start to look for lighting kits here in Canada. I need to research past posts here as I'm sure the topic has been covered....

Next time, try frosting the engraved portions and edge-light the acrylic... that will remove the hotspots the bulb are currently creating.
Other than that, nice looking sign.

Hi Fred,
I love the name of your shop... my birthday! The design is cool - very Bladerunner, a mix of old and new juxtaposed for a totally fresh look.
I have found that some LED signs light up unevenly, I wish the makers would put the lights closer together or that the LEDs could spread their glow a bit wider.
Good job, keep those juices flowing!
cheers, dee
