I was able to get a few board feet of Mango wood that is kilne dried and has good figure.
I wood like to hear from anyone that has used it and let me know how it works and takes a finish.

Thank you,
Jerry

Mango has lots of color, and I really like it. It's very open grained and porous. It would require sealing, or more than the normal amount of coats of finish. It does creats some allergies, some people get a rash from working with it. It's not a particularly "hard" wood. What are you building? It should make wonderful boxes. I usually turn it, or use it for tonewood.

There are many many species of mango. Some are quite plain.
