First one is made from 4/4 hard maple boards (no ply.. I hate ply!)
My 12'' A3-31 jointer was pretty handy in this project since the wider board used is 11''.
Some of the joints are floating tenons (dominos).
It was very fun to do.
Finish is Saman water based varnish, 3 coats, no stain.
Second project is our little daughter, born the 1st of march,
the day right after I put my varnish brush down and called the
project finished !!!
Cheers,
Alex

Wow, just beautiful. Mine is almost 1 year now! Oh, the bassinet is quite nice too! Looks like she's sleeping peacefully. Are you these days?

Both projects are top notch. Been a few decades since I produced a project similar to No.2 but I can still remember it.;)

I'm not sure how you created Project #2 using floating tenons but she looks like she turned out great! :) JK

Nice piece you made and congratulations on the birth of your daughter!

Even though the first project is nice you can't beat that second project.
Congrats on your new addition Alex...

No plans required. I did my own drawings inspired from many sources. If you're into that kind of project, the main angle is 5 degrees and the feet follow a perfect circle. This gives stability and a nice rocking motion. Matress is 16x32'' and was custom made by her mother :)

Cheers
