Penn State & MCLS Turn-A-Thorn

I want to thank PSI & MCLS for putting on the turn-a-thorn today. It was very organized and professionally done. Ed and Merle and all of their employees worked all week to put this project on.

We had 70 - 80 turners and new turners show up. Lathe time was every 1/2 hour about 175 pens were turned today. A 100 pens were donated this morning and another 120 - 150 pens will arrive next week from a number of turners in the area who could not make it.

We a new coverage from a local ABC new channel.

Everyone a great time for a great cause.

70 to 80 turners is just amazing, we have not been able to attract that many people at any of the TAT's here in Virginia yet. Maybe on November 11th.

Looks like ya'll had a great time, wish I could've been there.

WOW - that's a lot more crowded then when I was there yesterday. You guys did great, I only ended up with time to do ten while I was there and I had brought ten with me to get things started.

The guys, Jack and the other employees were great, too.

Gonna have some more fun on November 11 at Woodcraft Peoria.
