Wood Gloat: My Birdseye Maple "shorts" from young Mr. Raines in Ohio arrived today! :D Note that most of these "shorts" are 3 to 4+ feet long.

Bargain Gloat: These puppies cost me just a hair over $4.00 BF delivered to my home in Florida!

I prolly shouldn't have done this, but I got so excited I put just a touch of BLO on them so the figure would show up in the pics. :o

The three little pieces in this second pic represent the only appreciable waste in the lot, which I cut off a couple of the biggest boards.

Terrible wood with all those little specs in it.:D If you find they are a problem, I will take it off your hands. Seriously, I buy and sell wood all the time, Why don't I ever see bargins like this? Great haul.

Just PM Donnie Raines. He says he's getting more sometime relatively soon.

This part might interest you Chris.

Shipping from Ohio to Florida was only $26 and change for about 23 BF via USPS Parcel Post.

I am glad that you like them. The photos make the boards look darker then they really are. And for the record....these were my extras!!...the next batched will not be that inexpensive!!!...

Tom found a great souce on sending shorts through USPS. That price was more then half some of the other places.
