Here is what i was able to save from the branch that came down on my folks wires. Bigger stuf was starting to rot.

Great looking wood! Seal it or plastic bags the ends quick so it doesn't start checking on you! Is going to make for some really nice turnings!

John, that is some really nice looking wood! Very similar in appearance to some Eastern Redbud that I picked up.

Will be my first time turning crab apple. Looks a lot like farm apple witch I have turned. Used to have a orchard 30' from the lathe, had not been farmed in years, walk out the door with the saw & I had wood. Broke my heart when they pushed it down & burned it.

Congrats on the wood. Make sure you get it sealed quick cause it cracks easily.
