One day last year at work over heard a co-worker say that the big round disease part of his cherry trees do not burn worth a dam.:eek: It was a bit before I could speak & I may have asked him if he got into the gene pool when the life guard was off duty & did he only make to the shallow end. Went & cut all the diseased trees down for him the next weekend free of charge:) Last pic is from a branch I pulled from his burn pile.

It was a good thing you were there to help take care of all those diseased trees! Wow! The stuff you have to do sometimes...

You are a very thoughtful person John, It pays to pay attention. I never seem to have that kind of timing. Anxious to see what you do with those burls.
