If you keep an eye on CL, you are bound to get some good deals, I got a 14" jet BS, for $40, new PC 12" miter saw for $150, dewalt planer for $175, and sold a tablesaw for $150 (i paid $25 for it)

There is lots of crap to weed through though

now i thought the guy that sold me the near new pc biscuit puncher was nuts, but how
the hell did you get a jet bs for forty bucks? was it old junk or some old lady selling her
late hubbies stuff?

oh and speaking of that, i forgot to add a delta 12 inch planer for $40 only because i
turned right around and quadrupled my money.
