I made this display case out of walnut with a simple lacewood inlay on the top for a Donald figurine that was an anniversary gift for my better half.

Very nice job on the display case. You should be a miter expert at this point. :) The glass really looks good.

1st post with a great project. Your inlay looks great, nice combination of materials. Speaking of, is that red and black cloth at the back of the display? Looks like the curtains at a movie theater.

Very nice project, and a great finish on the piece. The dark wood really makes for a nice contrast with the brightly colored figurines.

You are correct...it is red and black felt to give it a sort of theater background.
