This is my first Churchill pen in a series of 3 I will be making. The final one will be in TruStone. This one was to make sure I had everything I needed. Good thing I am testing the process first because my first set of bushings were made wrong.:( I took them back to Woodcraft and they verified that they were in fact wrong and gave me a new set and a rosewood blank for my trouble.:D Now I'm thinking that the second "prototype" will be rosewood.
BTW this one is made from dog wood. It has 2 coats of crystal coat, two coats of gloss stick, and one more coat of crystal coat.

Nice looking pen... I've not turned the Churchill, but I like the way it looks.
Nicely displayed for the photo as well. I'm looking forward to seeing the others. The trustone can be a bit tricky depending on which color it is, so light cuts with a really sharp tool.
