I'm gearing up to make a few Puzzle Boxes and need to cut some very tight radius curves .... anyone have experience with blades this size?

Is one brand better than others?

Suggestions where to buy?

Thanks for your help.

Tim

I have used Timberwolf blades (http://www.suffolkmachinery.com/silicon_steel_selection.asp) on my 18" Laguna with no problems. Please note that some guide systems may NOT work with small blades. I have ceramic guides for my large blades and use small wood block inserts for the small blades.

I just ordered a 1/8" blade from Timberwolf today. I think they make top quality blades. They will make blades to any length you want.

Woodcraftbands.com is my first choice. John will make sure you are getting the best blade for your purpose. Remember that they are closed on Fridays.

I also am very satisfied with John at woodcraftband.com.

Nice guy to deal with.

one of the best band saw anyhting guys is iturra design:

no website, but lou iturra knows how to weld band saw blades. i started with timberwolf blades and they didn't work out for me. nice people and always tried hard to be helpful, but after getting a blade from iturra, the differences in teh welds betwen his lennox blades and the t-wolf blades were readily apparent.
