Hi all,

I wonder if there's any software package available for designing packaging such as cardboard boxes that outputs a laser-friendly (dxf, eps or similar) file for cut on the laser.

We have to rebox some of our products with our brand name, etc.. and I wonder if such a software exists..

Thanks in advance,

Hi Lucas

You would want:

Structural Package Designs by The Pepin Press

ISBN 90-5768-044-0

Hundreds of boxes and designs with CD-Rom of all the cutting patterns ready for CorelDraw or..... I found it at Barnes and Noble. All the files are scalable so you can make them any size.

Awesome book, Duane... opened up several other fine book choices during a search, too :)

that book is great :) I also have

Special Packaging 978-90-5768-0540-0 and
Functional Packaging Prototypes 1-58423-268-4

both of them come with the CD

Wow, Great find, In the past I have bought a box took it apart scanned it then redrew it. This opens up so much new territory.

Most I've done in the past was print out golf ball boxes for tournaments and wedding party gifts. Now I'm off and running!

Thanks!

Marty
