indexer works well ,it would seem the small jar is its limit ,its amazingly engineered

I'm fairly certain that the indexer opens along the track to the left so it can handle larger than that jar.
Ours does something similar on the ULS system, I made a video of a wine bottle the other day.

That looks like my rotary device, not having much experience on a lathe except for turning pens, how does this work with the lathe?
I've seen manual click stop indexers that people have use with lasers to cut out inlays in pen barrels but that's about it.

I'm fairly certain that the indexer opens along the track to the left so it can handle larger than that jar.Longer, yes, in fact the right-hand picture shows the extension you speak of. But it looks like it's diameter-limited.

the indexer can be adjusted to near the width of the table,the diameter is limitting,i was using 4.5 in diameter and i would think its limit is 6 inch becasue the table will be bottoming out ,the z axis is supposed to have a 10 in travel
