Ground wire inside starter box144423 both connected to mass with bolts144424
It is possible to connect ground wire outside the starter box and green wire coming to motor - connect to mass?

Dumb question I guess, but why not mount a switch and receptacle on the wall and plug the DC power cord into it.

For my DC, I bought a Long Ranger 220v remote-control switch that I plugged into the 220 wall outlet, and plugged the DC cord into the Long Ranger. Quick and easy for about $55 or $60.

Jim, I have same remote. Reason I am moving switch from motor to the wall - Motor will be located very high from floor - I am transforming one-stage DC to cyclone.
When I am finished in shop - I am turning everything off.

Hi Eduard, the ground wire should go through your starter, then on to the motor ground connection.

If the motor is grounded, and bolted to a metal fan assembly, the assembly will be grounded unless the motor is on rubber mounts.

No need to ground the fan separately........Rod.
