Morning Everyone,
I just was given a W & H W7 Molder from a friend.
He's had it in his warehouse for about 20 years, and I
have been after him to sell it to me for that long.
I finally have a use for it, he owes me a million favors,
So the Molder is now mine!
This appears to be a fairly old model, I'm guessing
1960's or early 70's. I will call W & H to get a date.
I need to make some moldings and circular picture frames.
I have it on my workbench, and am starting to tear it down.
It needs new bearings, a good cleaning and refresh.
I can't find any good information on the web regarding updates to the machine.
I'm looking for someone, other than the manufacturer, who has a lot of
experience using one of these molders.
My rollers are dry rotted and I see they make a few different styles to
replace them, which ones to use?
The W & H site is pretty bad in the update information area.
Does anyone here know of a site that has lots of info regarding updates,
jigs, and what not?
Thanks
John
