leaking oscillating spindle sander Help

I have a jet jovs-10 oss. It is leaking oil from the oil indicator very slowly. My question is, does the oil indicator have a seal on it? Parts list only shows oil indicator no seal thought it might be all one piece. If no seal how do I fix this?

IF the oil indicator is indeed only threaded into the machine with no seal, use some Teflon plumber's tape on the threads. The stuff works with water under pressure; should work with oil just sloshing and seeping!

You may wish to tip the machine to the side, to avoid oil pouring out the open hole when you remove the indicator. Also beats draining the machine and refilling!
