OK, been watching all that wood you guys have gotten. Enough is enough. I've broken down to join the wood gloat club. Here's the entire cherry tree I got off the banks of the Potomac River! Much of it 20" plus diameter! With a piece or two of maple and hickory thrown in just to add variety. Lots of gnarly cherry, just gotta figure out how to bring it out. Enjoy!

Steve, there's no way you're going to get that all blanked out, and rough-turned, before a lot of it ruins on ya. Somebody told me you wanted to make a trip out West, anyway, so why don't you just truck a bunch of it out here to me. Ugly lookin' stuff anyway... don't know why you'd want to even hang onto it............ :D
Get after it, man, that's a wonderful gloat! I've never seen a cherry tree that large in this part of the country. Have fun!

Just start roughing them out. You'll get some right and some not so right, but overall I don't think you can make too many mistakes with a load like that. Beautiful wood and you will fall in love with turning it green.:D
