Cherry stands 7" tall by 6" dish is 4" deep Danish oil finish.
I will need to finish sand then buff.

Darker but will never match. I think it looks great with the contrast.

Good looking candy dish. The sapwood will darken but it will never completely catch up to the heartwood, so you will always have some contrast, which looks nice.

Eric, great turn!! Nice work on the cove in the stem.

That really is some nice contrast with the sapwood. This is one of those times when the combo works very well.

BTW, the red coke can clashes with the cherry!!:D;)
