My wife collecting a dolls:(, a lot of them. Last one suppose to be in sitting position and she is asking to make a chair:eek:
First of all I never build a chair:o, second - I am trying to find a proportion for a regular chair and make a smaller one. Is this a reasonable plan?
Is anybody know a good book or internet site for a chair construction plan?
I don't want a Morris' chair or Maloof rocker, but something more appealing to eyes then simple square with legs:D:D
Thank you, Ed.

Dolls don't necessarily come properly proportioned to what people really are. I would suggest you scale the chair from a real chair according to measurements from the doll. Strength is not as much of an issue because a doll won't weigh as much as a human of the same size would and won't sue you if the chair breaks.

The parts are going to be small and working with small parts is more hazardous than working with full size pieces so be extra careful.
