OK Are the 3-1/2's inches or feet or both?

What type of cement do you need? The type depends on what you are doing.

How many cubic feet does the bag say it will make?

Multiply the width in feet X Length in feet X thickness in feet = Cubic feet needed.

Divide that number by the cubic feet per bag number and round up the the next full bag plus one more bag should do the job.

With the dimentions of your job, the store where you're getting the cement should be able to give you the right number of bags.

Hope this helps,

Bruce

try http://www.quikrete.com/calculator/calculator.html (http://http://www.quikrete.com/calculator/calculator.html)

I think you get about a half cubic foot per bag or close to it... Trust me, better to have too much than not enough... Do the math or let the link do it for you. Good luck. BTW, better you than me!!:D:D

Your curb works out to 11.66 square feet. Quickcrete indicates that 7 each 80lb. bags will supply that quantity.

If it were my curb, I would be adding a shovel of pure cement to each bag of Quickcrete. That makes a richer mix, easier finishing and a stronger finished product.
