11" Olive platter

Found a bit of time to turn today so here is an Olive platter. Wasn't originally going to be a platter but there was quite a bit of rotten wood I had to get past.

On my last post someone mentioned the pictures weren't bright enough, hopefully this is better.

that is a REALLY gorgeous platter Alex! STUNNING!!! That would make a good serving platter, but I'd hang it on a wall.

Alex, that sure was a chunk of wood!! No way to know what lived inside until you open it up. But, a great result!! Very nice platter, beautiful grain and color on this piece.
