View Full Version : I got acceptdt to my 1st Juried Art Show

I got the news today.
I applied for my 1st Juried Art Show this January. I submitted 2 pieces. ( only allowed 2 ) There was a 2 step process to get accepted. I got a letter 2 weeks ago that said my pieces were accepted in the 1st round, but they still had to make it through the 2 nd stage before they would be accepted for final juring. Well I got the news today that both pieces I submitted were accepted.
I really didn't think I'd get in because I've known several well known artist who's applied over the past several years who have not been accepted to this show.

That is one jury duty I wouldn't avoid.

I can't seem to get the pic's to load.
But the 2 pieces that I submitted were the Hickory Vessel I posted a pic of here back on 5/22/09. The other piece I submitted was the 28" tall Hard Maple vessel I posted here 12/21/09. (The pic's were not that good on either)

Thanks Joe, I can see why they were accepted! I remember the big maple one but wasn't into turning for the other. They are both very nice!
I seem to remember reading somewhere about not being able to post the same picture twice if that is what you were trying to do.
