My workshop & I are moving from a 2 car garage to the basement of a new (old) house. I am planing on covering the walls with 3/4 plywood & putting down sleepers on the floor with T&G plywood over them. Should I use moisture blocking paint on the concrete before I cover it, or would a plastic sheeting moisture barrier on the floor be sufficient. The house is in central Illinois & the basement has no know water problems.

Thanks Loren

There are lots of things to think about, and lots of potential pitfalls if this isn't done right. I'm not your answer, bu I have a suggestion.

That's a forum that is populated by a lot of building and construction pros. And they are generally quite friendly. Lot of expertise there, and no doubt, good answers to your question.
