Hi Guys,

I have a line on a Jet CTAS 12h1 cabinet saw for $400.00. It seems like a good deal, however not much information is floating around on the internet. From what I gathered, it was built over seas somewhere in asia, its 3 horsepwer, 12" single phase and that's about it.

Any info, thoughts experience would be most helpful.

Thanks!

Ed - Is it a 10" or 12" table saw?

I can only give you my impressoins with the JET cabinet saw I owned until I bought my SawStop. I loved that saw. It was solid and did everything I ever asked it to. Had it not been for the SawStop, it would still be in my garage today.

Hi Glen,

It's the 12". Thanks for the info!

I have had the 10" Jet 3HP cabinet saw for about 7 or 8 years now and couldn't be more thrilled with it's power, precision, fence, everything.

The first question for me would be the saw's power requirments. I'd think there'd be a better chance it's 3ph since it sounds as though it's a 12" saw. Can you handle that?

We have ample power at the shop (its a large format print shop) so shouldn't be a problem.
